Longship Scout Group

The group would like to congratulate Carsten and Birthe on the birth of their new daughter Mathea (4.37kg/53cm). Mum, dad and daughter are all doing well.

Gruppeting - VG

300 brochures are ready to be given out to new potential members. We're hoping for many new members!

Recruitment has started. Ebba and Marius were at Ullevål school on Tuesday 22nd August to recruit new members for the cubs and the pioneers.

Posters are being placed around the groups recruitment area. We hope that this will bring us many new members.

The brochures are built using the same design as earlier. They are professionally printed and look good. They explain a little about what membership in Longship is all about.

Onsdag ettermiddag stilte Longship opp på aksjon Livsglede for hjertesyke barn. Pinnebrødene gikk ned på høykant!

Aksjon Livsglede ble arrangert på Rikshospitalet av Foreningen for Hjertesyke Barn. Longship ble av Oslospeiderne bedt om å stille opp med
speideraktiviteter. Gruppeass Kjersti svarte ja, og fikk med seg Inger Elisabeth, Marie, Ovidia og Carsten som hjelpere.

Dessverre var været litt grått, så mange holdt seg innendørs under arrangementet. Trist, for de gikk glipp av gode pinnebrød med jordbærsyltetøy. Grillingen

Congratulations to Arne Didrik on becoming the new leader for the Greyhound rover unit.

AD was voted in at Greyhound's meeting last night where a full and interesting programme was agreed.
